Happy 1st Birthday, K9 Valo!

October 29 marks K9 Valo’s first birthday as he continues training with Officer Hartzell. Valo is honing patrol skills—searching buildings and fields—and has nearly 500 successful drug detections; he will be certified to detect multiple narcotics after completing his initial training in two weeks. Officer Hartzell highlights Valo’s intelligence, eagerness to learn and good nature, and the department says they’re proud of the pair’s hard work.
