Hassinger arrested in Mechanicsburg for DUI and operating without ignition interlock
Stopped on West Green Street and found impaired; also accused of driving without a required ignition interlock. Booked at Cumberland County Prison with a preliminary hearing to be scheduled.
On August 9, 2026, at about 1:53 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Green Street and identified the driver as 35-year-old Hassinger. Officers determined he was under the influence to the degree he could not safely operate a vehicle and that he was required to use an ignition interlock; he was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Prison pending a preliminary hearing.
