The Internal Revenue Service notified local municipalities that IRS Revenue Officers will conduct in-person visits in the Lititz area during the weeks of August 10 and August 17, 2026. While most visits are scheduled and taxpayers typically receive a letter beforehand, officers may make unannounced visits to taxpayers or third parties; they will identify themselves with official IRS credentials, may carry additional government-issued ID, and could be from other states driving out-of-state vehicles.
