Jack McGary, 72, arrested in Cimarron on violation of Offender Registration Act

On August 11, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Gray County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jack McGary, a 72-year-old Black male described as about 5'7" and 180 lbs, at 300 S. Main St., Cimarron. He was taken into custody on a charge of violating the Offender Registration Act; the circumstances of the arrest are under investigation.
