On September 17, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Saugerties Police Department arrested John J. Alessi, 25, of Lake Katrine, NY, and charged him with the misdemeanor of Stalking in the 4th Degree (PL 120.45). Alessi was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket to appear later in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court. The arrest (AR-00298-26) occurred on Kings Highway in Saugerties.
