Keith E. Chaplain Jr., 50, arrested for theft from motor vehicle in Woodward Township

On Aug. 3, 2026, Woodward Township Police arrested 50-year-old Keith E. Chaplain Jr. after video captured him stealing about $70 in property from a truck parked at the Nittany Minit Mart, 18 Woodward Ave, around 10:46 p.m. He was charged with 3934(A) Theft From a Motor Vehicle (M2) and 3925(A) Receiving Stolen Property (M2); some of the property was recovered. Chaplain was arraigned by MDJ Keith Kibler and committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 bail; he had two separate theft arrests in July 2026.
