Lancaster woman arrested on aggravated assault, disorderly conduct charges

Casandra Lee Smith, 37, of Lancaster, was arrested Oct. 10, 2026 following a traffic stop at Lititz Pike and York Road in Manheim Township and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of disorderly conduct. Officers reported she showed signs of intoxication, repeatedly tried to exit the vehicle, screamed after being detained and became unresponsive then combative; she allegedly struck an officer, knocking a body-worn camera to the ground, and kicked other officers while being restrained. A criminal complaint was filed, she was arraigned before MDJ Monson, and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
