The Lititz Borough Police Department will join the Pennsylvania State Police and about 300 municipal agencies in a targeted aggressive-driving enforcement wave from October 26 through November 15, 2026. Enforcement will target school bus violations, the Move Over Law, tailgating, speeding and other unsafe behaviors; any aggressive driver stopped will be ticketed. The campaign is funded through PennDOT with NHTSA federal funds and aims to reduce aggressive-driving crashes — in 2025 there were 6,812 such crashes, resulting in 119 fatalities and 437 suspected serious injuries.
