Lititz Police to Join Statewide Aggressive-Driving Enforcement Oct. 26–Nov. 15, 2026
Targeted enforcement will focus on school bus violations, the Move Over Law, tailgating and speeding; any aggressive driver stopped will be ticketed.
The Lititz Borough Police Department will join the Pennsylvania State Police and about 300 municipal agencies in a targeted aggressive-driving enforcement wave from October 26 through November 15, 2026, intended to reduce crashes, injuries and deaths. Officers will focus on school bus violations, the Move Over Law, tailgating and speeding using traffic enforcement zones, saturation patrols, speed and work-zone details and multi-jurisdictional operations; in 2025 there were 6,812 aggressive-driving crashes with 119 fatalities and 437 suspected serious injuries, and the effort is funded by PennDOT with NHTSA federal funds.
