Man arrested in Millersville on child pornography and sex-offense charges

On Sept. 10, 2026, Millersville Borough Police arrested 30-year-old Garrett Takoda Miner on charges related to child sexual abuse material and multiple other sex-offense violations involving a child. The probe began Aug. 31, 2026, after a cybertip identified suspected child pornography linked to a Google account; Berks County traced the IP address to Millersville and the borough’s detective division secured a search warrant. Millersville officers, assisted by the Lancaster County Digital Forensics Team, executed the warrant at a borough residence and uncovered multiple violations that led to Miner’s arrest.
