On September 4, 2026, Jeff Edmond received an 18–40 year state prison term for the October 30, 2024 murder of Ledomperignon “Lele” Eady after a June conviction for third-degree murder. Erie police detectives gathered video evidence showing Edmond chasing and violently attacking the victim, and prosecutors — led by Chief Deputy DA Jeremy Lightner and ADA Brendan Sala — credited close collaboration with law enforcement. The district attorney’s office noted Edmond’s extensive criminal history and said the sentence serves justice for the victim and community.
