Mechanicsburg resident reports unauthorized use of EBT credit card
Victim discovered multiple unauthorized transactions on their EBT credit card originating in Maryland despite still possessing the card.
On August 11, 2026 at approximately 9:34 a.m., a Mechanicsburg resident in the 1st block of North Market Street reported their EBT credit card had been used without permission. The victim found numerous unauthorized transactions in Maryland and still had the card in their possession, so it is unknown how the card information was obtained. Anyone with information regarding case MBG-2026-08-0437 is asked to contact the Mechanicsburg Police Department.
