Michael Terrell Williams arrested after alleged repeated burglaries at former employer
Police say a 40-year-old former employee repeatedly broke into Snyder Event Rentals’ Spike Bar Service, stealing alcohol, equipment and vehicles before turning himself in.
Michael Terrell Williams, 40, of North Charleston was arrested after police say he repeatedly broke into Snyder Event Rentals’ Spike Bar Service between May and August, stealing alcohol, chairs, tables, equipment and company vehicles. Surveillance allegedly showed him raising a warehouse bay door, loading beverages into a company truck and later taking a box truck with an accomplice; the company says it had fired Williams in June after earlier thefts and that he harassed employees by email. Williams turned himself in at City Hall and was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center on charges including second-degree violent burglary, motor vehicle theft, grand larceny and breach of trust.
