Michigan family to file lawsuit after student’s hypothermia death near fraternity party

The family of a University of Michigan student who died after leaving a fraternity party earlier this year still plans to file a lawsuit against those they believe are responsible, according to the family’s attorney. Lucas Mattson, 19, died in January after attending a party near campus during a period of extreme cold weather. His family now intends to pursue legal action against multiple parties connected to the events leading up to his death, Blue Water Health Living added.
