The Batavia Police Department reported several arrests between July 18 and July 30, 2026, including felony DWI, narcotics possession, criminal contempt and harassment charges. Notable incidents include Jermain T. Tyson arrested 7/25 for felony DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation and false personation; Anthony M. Manara arrested 7/25 after a Vine St. domestic dispute and a fleeing vehicle pursuit ended by spike strips; and arrests for possession of crack and methamphetamine during traffic and probation-related stops. Other arrests involved alleged violations of orders of protection and an officer being shoved during a response to a fight.
