Nazareth man charged with public drunkenness after skateboarding in roadway
Police say a man skateboarding in the middle of North Broad Street swerved into traffic and was found with an open container; public drunkenness charges were filed.
On September 18, 2026, at about 10:01 p.m., Nazareth Borough Police observed 37-year-old Colin Fischl skateboarding in the middle of North Broad Street near East North Street and swerving into traffic, nearly striking a patrol car and two motorists. Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol and found an open container; Fischl was assisted home and charges for public drunkenness were filed.
