Nighttime lane closures on U.S. 422 in Upper Providence for milling and paving Aug. 2–6

PennDOT says a $6.2 million project will resurface and repair a 4.4-mile stretch of U.S. 422 in Limerick and Upper Providence townships with milling and paving work scheduled Aug. 2–6. Westbound lane closures for paving will be in place between Troutman Road and Royersford Road from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and eastbound closures for milling will run from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM; the schedule is weather dependent and drivers should allow extra travel time. Allan Myers, Inc. of Worcester is the general contractor and the project is financed with 100% state funds.
