NLCRPD promotes Curtis Ochs to Operations Lieutenant; Theresa Stauffer named Detective Corporal
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department promoted Sergeant Curtis Ochs to Operations Lieutenant and Detective Theresa Stauffer to Detective Corporal at its Aug. 13 Board of Commissioners meeting; Ochs’s promotion is noted as occurring in August 2026.
At the Aug. 13 Board of Commissioners meeting, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department promoted Sergeant Curtis Ochs to Operations Lieutenant and Detective Theresa Stauffer to Detective Corporal (Ochs’s promotion is dated August 2026). Ochs, hired by Warwick Township PD in 2000 who later served as patrol officer, evidence technician, corporal and training sergeant, will oversee patrol, the criminal investigations division and the department’s Manheim Auto Auction officers while continuing evidence work; Stauffer, who began with Penn Township PD in 2000, became a detective in 2015 and has worked major crime scenes since 2014, will lead the CID as a working supervisor.
