NLCRPD promotes Ochs to lieutenant, Stauffer to detective corporal
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department promoted two long-serving officers into leadership roles to oversee patrol and criminal investigations.
At the August 13 Board of Commission meeting the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department promoted Sergeant Curtis Ochs to Operations Lieutenant and Detective Theresa Stauffer to Detective Corporal. Ochs, hired in January 2000 and promoted through the ranks (Corporal 2019, Sergeant 2022, training sergeant/CID role 2024), will oversee patrol, the criminal investigations division and Manheim Auto Auction officers while continuing evidence technician duties. Stauffer, who began her career in August 2000, became a detective in March 2015 after participating in major crime investigations and will serve as a working supervisor leading the CID team of three detectives.
