Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October highlights the importance of early detection and ongoing education, but support for survivors and those in treatment must continue year‑round. Last year the Chambersburg Police Department supported 13 organizations — including Zero Prostate, the Pediatric Brain Cancer Foundation and CVBCA — through No Shave November; beards return for one month only starting tomorrow, November 1, 2026, and the department says no one fights alone.
