No One Fights Alone: Chambersburg Police Support Cancer Awareness and No Shave November
Chambersburg Police continue cancer-awareness efforts and relaunch No Shave November to raise funds for local and national cancer organizations.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October highlights the importance of early detection, but Chambersburg Police say support for survivors and those in treatment must be year-round. Last year the department supported 13 organizations that fund research and assist people affected by cancer — including Zero Prostate, the Pediatric Brain Cancer Foundation, and CVBCA — through No Shave November. Beards return for one month only beginning November 1, 2026, as the department continues its community fundraising and support efforts.
