Operation Safe Stop 30th Anniversary — Westtown-East Goshen Police Participate

Members of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Traffic Safety Unit took part in the 30th Annual Operation Safe Stop. The campaign — coordinated with law enforcement agencies, school transportation providers, pupil transportation associations and PennDOT — aims to educate motorists that passing a stopped school bus while children are loading or unloading is dangerous and illegal. Officers rode buses with students from Stetson Middle and Westtown-Thornbury Elementary to raise awareness and reduce illegal school bus passes.
