The Parkesburg Borough Police Department is conducting a testing process to establish an eligibility list for immediate full‑time police hires. Applications are available on the department's CrimeWatch site or at the department and must be submitted or received by 4:00 PM on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, to Parkesburg Borough Police Department, C/O Ann Smoker, 315 W. First Avenue, Building 2, Parkesburg, PA 19365. The written exam is Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026 at Parkesburg Borough Hall (doors 7:30 AM, exam begins 8:00 AM); successful candidates will immediately complete physical agility testing at Octorara Area School District and, if advancing, undergo oral interview, polygraph, psychological exam and background investigation before a conditional offer and final medical exam.
