Passenger Arrested After Allegedly Grabbing Wheel, Causing Crash in Conoy Township
Susquehanna Regional Police say a 20-year-old passenger allegedly grabbed the steering wheel, causing a vehicle to strike a utility pole on Risser Road; he was charged in connection with the Sept. 26 crash.
On Sept. 26, 2026, at about 1:00 a.m., Susquehanna Regional Police responded to a vehicle crash in the 100 block of Risser Road, Conoy Township. Officers say passenger Austin Michael McKain, 20, allegedly grabbed the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to strike a utility pole; he was charged with related offenses. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
