Penn Township Announces Temporary Road Closures in Early August
Closures on Cool Spring Road (Aug. 5) and Stiegel Valley Road (Aug. 7 and Aug. 10) for paving, milling and widening; limited access and possible delays are expected.
Cool Spring Road between Doe Run Road and Meadow Road will be closed Wednesday, August 5 during daytime hours for paving. Emergency vehicles, school buses and mail carriers will not be able to get through due to limited space. Stiegel Valley Road between Mallard Drive and the back entrance to Longenecker’s Hardware will be closed Friday, August 7 and Monday, August 10 during daytime hours — Friday for road widening and milling connected to the Baron Run development and Monday for paving; emergency vehicles, school buses and mail carriers will be able to get through but should expect delays.
