On October 9, 2026 at 1107 hours, Pocono Township Police were dispatched to the Best Western in Tannersville for a report of a fight. Officers found two employees in a verbal altercation when 49-year-old Duwayne L. Rouse struck another employee in the face, causing injury. Rouse was charged with one count of simple assault (M2) and harassment (S) in incident 2026-00011618.
