Pocono Township police seek driver of UTV that fled during Oct. 19 pursuit

On October 19, 2026, Pocono Township officers saw a UTV run a steady red light on Sullivan Trail near Route 715 and fled, leading to a pursuit through Jackson Township and onto Hypsie Gap Road before the vehicle entered Long Pond Conservation Easement and State Game Lands. The UTV was identified as a dark Polaris RZR pro with an aftermarket lift kit and was last seen near Fall Creek Terrace and Overlook Terrace; the operator was described as a white male with dark brown hair and there were at least two passengers.
