Randolph McCoy turns himself in; charged with drug possession in Stroudsburg

On Jan. 5, 2026, Stroud Area Regional Police responded to a suspicious call at an abandoned residence on Thomas Street in Stroudsburg, where officers say Randolph McCoy discarded a translucent baggie later recovered and appearing to contain crack cocaine. A search incident to arrest allegedly turned up a marijuana cigarette, THC flower, rolling papers and a razor blade; the suspected cocaine and marijuana later tested positive at the PSP lab. McCoy, 49, turned himself in at MDJ Johnson’s office on July 1, was arraigned, given $5,000 unsecured bail and faces counts including 780-113(A)(16) possession of a controlled substance (M), 780-113(A)(32) possession of drug paraphernalia (M) and 780-113(A)(31)(i) possession of marijuana.
