Randy Bowersox arrested on strangulation, assault and harassment charges
Lancaster Township police say a 64-year-old man choked and pushed a victim during a reported domestic violence incident; he was taken into custody and is awaiting arraignment.
On Aug. 22, 2026, Lancaster Township Police responded to the 600 block of Wyncroft Lane and observed substantial bruising, redness and scratch marks on the victim’s neck. Investigators say Randy Bowersox, 64, pushed the victim against a door and choked her; he was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison to await arraignment. He faces one count of F2 strangulation (18 § 2718A1), one count of M2 simple assault (18 § 2701A1) and one count of summary harassment (18 § 2709A1); a preliminary hearing is scheduled before the Hon. Mary Mongiovi Sponaugle.
