Reinholds man charged with felony retail theft in 145-item Weis Market thefts
Police say surveillance and receipts link a Reinholds man to five suspected shoplifting incidents at an Ephrata Weis Market between March and May.
The Ephrata Police Department filed felony Retail Theft (F3) charges against Kyle John Grandinetti, 33, of Reinholds after Weis Market’s Retail Crime Investigation Unit provided video footage and receipts from five separate thefts that occurred between March and May 2026. Authorities say a total of 145 items valued at $1,301.50 were stolen; officers reviewed footage from a July 28, 2026 report and identified Grandinetti as the suspect. Grandinetti is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
