Ricardo Almanza, 28, of Kennett Square, was stopped on Aug. 29 at about 9:55 PM in the 100 block of S. Broad Street after officers observed erratic driving. Officers noted signs of impairment and field sobriety tests indicated impairment; a breath test returned a 0.207% BAC. He was charged with DUI—incapable of driving safely (PAVC 3802(A)(1)), DUI—BAC .16% or greater (PAVC 3802(C)), and careless driving (PAVC 3714(A)), processed by police and released to his residence pending a district court summons.
