Robert Jeter charged with felony retail theft at Lower Allen Walmart
Police say Jeter and another man switched tags and concealed merchandise, stealing $89.89; Jeter's two prior retail-theft convictions elevated the latest charge to a felony.
On Aug. 21, 2026 at 5:08 PM, Lower Allen Township police responded to Walmart at 3400 Hartzdale Drive after loss prevention detained two males for switching tags and concealing items. Officers identified the suspects as Tyler Brown and Robert Gale Jeter and determined $89.89 in merchandise was stolen. Because Jeter has two prior retail-theft convictions, the new charge was filed as a felony; he was taken to Cumberland County Prison (LA-26-04271, (18) 3929(A)(1) RETAIL THEFT).
