Sawyer Macy brings high school success to track career
First-year track runner Sawyer Macy went from casually enjoying running as a child to falling in love with the sport after late-night middle school runs and is now building on his high school success.
Sawyer Macy, a first-year track athlete, said he only casually enjoyed running as a child and at one point found the idea of constantly running unattractive. After spending late nights running with middle school friends, he fell in love with the sport and began to find his rhythm as he transitions from high school to collegiate competition.
