On Oct. 16, 2026, Brookhaven Borough officers identified representatives of a solar panel company soliciting without a permit in the 4400 block of Chandler Drive. Because there were no prior contacts with the company or its employees, officers issued verbal warnings. Residents are advised to dial 911 if solicitors fail to display a valid permit upon request.
