Stephen Alan Conway arrested on strangulation, assault and criminal mischief charges in Woodward Township
Woodward Township police say a 34-year-old man assaulted a victim inside a vehicle on Cider Press Road, fled the scene, and was later located and taken into custody; bail was set at $15,000.
On Aug. 15, 2026, Woodward Township Police investigated a domestic-related assault on Cider Press Road alleging 34-year-old Stephen Alan Conway assaulted the victim in a vehicle and fled. Conway was located later that evening in Centre County with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, transported to Clinton County and booked into the Clinton County Correctional Facility. A preliminary arraignment on Aug. 16 by MDJ Keith Kibler set bail at $15,000; Conway faces charges of strangulation (F2), simple assault (M2) and criminal mischief (summary).
