Timothy Allen Simmons arrested in Ephrata package theft
Doorbell camera footage led to the identification and arrest of a man accused of stealing a delivered package in Ephrata; he was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Ephrata Police arrested 58-year-old Timothy Allen Simmons after doorbell camera footage showed a man taking a package from a residence on the 1st block of Washington Avenue on Aug. 13, 2026 at 9:57 p.m. Simmons was transported to Lancaster County Prison for central arraignment and, on Aug. 14, was arraigned by MDJ Commins and committed to LCP in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. Simmons is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
