Westmoreland County detectives say Emma Harbaugh Walker, 32, and Jordan Johnson, 35, allegedly convinced a 77-year-old man with early onset dementia to withdraw cash repeatedly, totaling $40,000 between April 2025 and March 2026. The victim’s caretaker alerted police after noting multiple alarming withdrawals; the pair were evicted in April 2026 and investigators found the apartment vandalized and unsanitary. Walker and Johnson face charges of financial exploitation of an older adult, criminal mischief and conspiracy; these are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
