Lehigh students and staff were notified Aug. 10 of two measles cases in the Lehigh Valley — the area's first since 2019 — amid a nationwide resurgence and were reminded of the university's vaccination requirements.
The Lehigh Valley recorded two measles cases in August, its first reported since 2019 amid a nationwide resurgence. Lehigh University emailed students and staff on Aug. 10 informing them of the cases and reminding the campus community of the school's vaccine requirements; St. Luke’s Hospital Network reported the cases.
