West Shore Regional Police and the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Special Response Team used negotiation and restraint during a nearly six-hour response to a domestic-violence-related warrant and welfare check in Lemoyne Borough.
On November 3, 2026, West Shore Regional Police attempted to serve a domestic-violence-related arrest warrant and perform a welfare check on Nicholas Rosado in the 400 block of Lemoyne Borough. After nearly six hours—during which Rosado expressed a desire to self-harm and officers learned weapons were in the home—the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Special Response Team assisted and Rosado peacefully surrendered; District Attorney Seán M. McCormack commended the coordinated, restrained response.
