PennDOT reports nighttime lane closures on U.S. 422 in Limerick and Upper Providence townships as part of a $6.2 million project to resurface and repair a 4.4‑mile section. From Sunday, Aug. 2 through Thursday, Aug. 6, westbound U.S. 422 between Troutman Road and Royersford Road will have a lane closed for paving nightly from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, while eastbound lanes will have closures for milling nightly from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The work—performed by Allan Myers, Inc.—includes milling, a bituminous overlay, new pavement markings, reinstalled edge‑line rumble strips and base repairs as needed; drivers should allow extra time and note the schedule is weather dependent.
