Widow has no idea why her whole friend group is furious
After being welcomed into a close-knit group following her husband's death, she enjoyed monthly gatherings and even cruises — but now the group is suddenly furious and she doesn't know why.
DEAR ABBY: Four years ago, my cousin “Roy” introduced me to his friends, who, once a month, have a party at the home of one of the couples. We would eat and then play a form of dominoes. It was raucous and fun. The second time I went, a couple in the group told me that now I was “part of the family.” I always had fun and laughed a lot, which I hadn’t experienced much after my husband died years ago. Roy even invited me to go on a couple of cruises with six people from the group.
