On September 10, 2026, Nazareth Police responded to a report of elder abuse at Moravian Hall Square after a resident’s husband reported bruising on his wife’s wrist; staff conducted an internal investigation and placed the accused on administrative leave. Authorities interviewed the alleged offender and others, notified the Northampton County District Attorney’s office, and filed charges against 43-year-old Lindsey Roberts under 18-2713.1 (M1) for striking, shoving, kicking, attempting or threatening a care-dependent person.
