19-Year-Old Yadielys Morant Ortiz Charged in Hospital Assault

On September 27, 2026, at about 5:51 a.m., police responded to Holy Spirit Hospital after a nurse reported being physically attacked by a trauma patient while assisting with care. Authorities identified the suspect as 19-year-old Yadielys Morant Ortiz; the nurse sustained visible injuries and Ortiz is charged with aggravated assault. The incident was handled by East Pennsboro Township Police; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
