Lower Chichester Township Police responded Aug. 24, 2026, to Laughead Avenue and Ward Street after a dog was reported struck by a vehicle that fled the scene and identified the animal from earlier incidents. Officers say Pamela M. Kereszi, 39, had prior contacts, warnings and citations after the dog escaped through a hole in her backyard fence on Aug. 19 and Aug. 22, 2026, and failed to secure the animal, leading to the most recent incident. Kereszi faces an M2 cruelty-to-animals charge (18 5533 A) and two confinement violations (459-305 A1 and A2); charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
