Warminster man sentenced, designated sexually violent predator for possessing child pornography including AI images
A Warminster man was sentenced to seven to 20 years in state prison and formally designated a sexually violent predator after investigators found hundreds of child sexual abuse files, including AI-generated images of a 15-year-old neighbor.
Christopher L. O’Neill, 47, received 7 to 20 years in state prison plus a consecutive year of probation after pleading guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography, some created with AI, and related theft charges. Investigators recovered 694 illicit photos and videos from Google Photos and two images from PicsArt; forensic analysis confirmed some files involving a 15-year-old neighbor were AI-generated. The court formally designated O’Neill a sexually violent predator, requiring lifetime registration; the case was investigated by Bucks County detectives and the Pennsylvania ICAC Task Force and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Kristin McElroy.
