Bradford man Daryl Robinson Jr. ruled a Sexually Violent Predator
A McKean County judge found Daryl Robinson Jr. meets the statutory criteria for a Sexually Violent Predator after expert testimony about his long-term, predatory offenses against minors.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reported that Daryl Robinson Jr., who pleaded guilty in June to multiple sex offenses against minors, was found by a judge on Oct. 7 to meet Pennsylvania’s statutory definition of a Sexually Violent Predator following testimony from expert Dr. Brenda Manno. The ruling cited offenses spanning more than five years and behavior showing he maintained relationships with victims to facilitate his crimes; Robinson will be sentenced Dec. 3. Those designated as Sexually Violent Predators face lifetime registration and additional counseling and monitoring requirements under Pennsylvania law.
