Back-to-School Safety Reminder
Safety reminders from the Anytown Test Police Department for students, parents and drivers as the new school year begins.
The Anytown Test Police Department offers safety tips for the new school year to help students, parents and drivers protect children on and near school property. Students are advised to walk or bike with a buddy, stay alert, use crosswalks and secure belongings; parents should set safe drop-off/pick-up routines, teach children not to accept rides from strangers and encourage reporting of suspicious behavior. Drivers are reminded to obey school zone speeds, stop for buses with flashing lights and avoid distractions while driving.
