Bloomsburg police investigate overnight courthouse shooting; no injuries
Bloomsburg police are investigating an overnight shooting near the Columbia County Courthouse; no injuries reported and the incident appears isolated.
The Bloomsburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the area of the Columbia County Courthouse at 35 West Main Street. No one was injured, the incident appears to be isolated and there is no direct threat to the public. Anyone with information or who witnessed the event is asked to contact Patrolman Evan Lingousky at 570-784-4155 ext. 140.
