Brendan Higgins Arrested in Saugerties on Aggravated DWI Charge
Saugerties Police charged a 50-year-old Manhasset man with aggravated driving while intoxicated (BAC ≥ .18) and DWI after an August 16 arrest; he was released on an appearance ticket.
On August 16, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Saugerties Police arrested Brendan Higgins, 50, of Manhasset, NY, charging him with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (VTL 1192-2AA, BAC ≥ .18) and Driving While Intoxicated (VTL 1192.3). He was processed at the Saugerties Police Department on Blue Mountain Road and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
