Established on November 1, 1951, the Bensalem Township Police Department honors 75 years of service; 322 men and women have sworn an oath to protect and serve the township. To commemorate the anniversary, all sworn personnel will be issued badges to wear beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026, as the department reaffirms its commitment to public safety, professionalism and community trust.
